Hostal Barcelona Residencia is a clean, friendly hostel located just off Avinguda Paral.lel, on the border of the Old Town and a 10 minute walk to Las Ramblas. At the foot of Montjuïc mountain, the hostel is extremely close to the famous stadium where the Olympics were held in 1992. You can swim in the Piscinas Picornell, the Olympic pools which have both indoor and outdoor facilities. Or just down the street have a swim in the pool where the high diving events were held which has absolutely spectacular views. Still further on Montjuïc is the Joan Miró Foundation which also has temporary exhibitions, the castle and one of Barcelona’s largest and most beautiful parks. ...more details >

The location was good, it was possible to walk to the center of the city and also there was an underground station very near. The room was small but comfortable and clean, with a private bathroom. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only problem is that thewasn't air conditioner waasn't cool enough and Barcelona is very hot in the summer.

Das Zentrum und einige Sehenswürdigkeiten sind vom Hotel aus gut zu Fuß oder auch mit der U-Bahn zu erreichen. Das Zimmer mit seperatem ist ziemlich klein und sehr einfach eingreichtet und relativ sauber. Der Service war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und teilweise auch deutsch. Wer viel unterwegs ist und das Zimmer hauptsächlich zum schlafen braucht ist damit gut bedient.

Petit hôtel propre quoique vieillot et bruillant. Bonne situation sur la linea 2 de métro.

recepción muy amable,agua fresca, café y té a voluntad en recepción, hostal bien ubicado para conocer el tapeo de calidad y las tienditas con encanto de la calle Valencia. A 20 minutos andando de la plaza de Cataluña (bajando o subiendo por Passeig de Gracia, inutil coger metro...)En fin un buen hostal, muy limpio, que necesitaria a lo mejor un poco de pintura...
