  About Hostal Centro
A central, 15-room hostel located in the heart of Barcelona's modernist route, a couple of minutes walk to two of Gaudi's most exhilarating masterpieces - La Pedrera and Casa Batlló in Passeig de Gracia. The hostel is located just above the fray of Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas but close enough to be able to get there on foot. It has the charm of those old fashioned establishment with ornate high ceilings, mosaic floors and parquet floors and kitsch 70's style furnishing. Some of the rooms have charming enclosed terraces. It's very well connected with the rest of the city by bus or metro (Passeig de Gracia, L3).Note: On the day of arrival, the establishment will charge the given credit card for the first night; the rest must be paid for when checking in at the hostel.

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, obwohl etwas ringhörig. Gut geeignet für kürzeren Aufenthalt.

Il s'agit d'un hotel familiale à deux pas du quartier gay et des spotes culturels, ce n'est pas le grand luxe, mais confortable et propre, un peu bruyant sans pour autant passer des nuits blanches

This Hostal is perfect for low budget accommodation. The room is very simple, but clean. It wasn't noisy at all, we didn't hear anything from the street, nor from other guests' room. If you don't need more than a bed, it's perfect. We were on the 5th floor and we had 2 shared bathrooms, very clean and they were always free when we needed. The location is very-very good, walking distance from Placa Catalunya (10-15 minutes) and even closer to metro stop Universitaria. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. The staff speaks English (besides the owner, a 60-year-old man) and they are kind. We asked for a hairdryer and we got one [it was a bit hard to explain to the owner what we want... :) ]. If you don't go to Barcelona to stay in a fancy hotel, than it is the perfect place! 2 guests from Romania

Preis/Leistung stimmt wahrscheinlich für Barcelona, trotzdem muss darauf hingewiesen werden, dass der Lärm von Flur und Nebenzimmern ganz erheblich sein können.

la sistemazione è strategica, vicino al centro che si può raggiungere a piedi ma anche alle principali fermate di metro e bus. vcino alla fermata (Diagonal)del bus per l'aereoporto. Camera essenziale ma pulita, buono il rapporto qualità prezzo
