Good Paella

Paella is a typical Valencian dish, usually consisting of rice, olive oil, saffron, vegetables, meat or seafood. The dish takes a fairly long time to prepare and the order in which you add the ingredients is very important. Valencian Paella is prepared in a wide, shallow pan (also called a Paella) and should be crispy and caramelised at the bottom. When a slightly toasted smell arises from the pan, you know it is done. Although this dish is traditionally from , it is readily available in most restaurants in Barcelona and elsewhere in Spain
